As a leader at the VFW and Member of the La Mirada Veterans Coordinating Council (LMVCC) in the community, I am committed to serving you and addressing the important issues that impact our city. With a focus on Public Safety and Business Development, I aim to bring positive change to our city. With years of experience in public and private sector service, I have the knowledge and determination to find effective solutions and navigate the complexities of governmental agencies.

 PRIORITIES

PUBLIC SAFETY

Working in the private sector in the Armed Protection Industry, I have seen and experienced the devastating effects of crime patrolling the streets of various counties in Southern California. Having seen some of the worst violence, and drug related issues, I know what it takes to keep La Mirada safe. The support I have received from Law Enforcement organizations and individuals has been amazing. It is not a surprise that First Responders know that I understand the complex nature of their jobs and will support them 100% because I am also involved in protecting citizens daily.

 
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

As a lifelong resident of La Mirada, I have seen the ups and downs of business in La Mirada. There are times when a it seems like economic development is stalling and it has to do with larger issues that are out of the control of the local authorities. Overall, I am cautiously optimistic on the picture of current business. I am very concerned about the future and rising costs of everything (inflation). Eventually, something will break and some businesses will not be able to survive. I urge business owners to be involved in local organizations and communicate concerns about business within the City. I am available to speak with business owners about their concerns and how I can assist. Public Safety ties into my business development plan in creating a positive relationship with our LASD and Public Safety partners, keeping businesses safe attracts investors.  
Combat Proven Leadership

As an Afghanistan Veteran,  Army Sergeant, and current armed protector, I get the job done, and the City employees and residents have witnessed it. I have worked, and continue to work and lead others, in high stress environments on multiple projects. I get results, and whatever the task is, I put my full effort into the job that I can possibly provide, both mentally and physically. I will be available at all times, day or night, and serve my term of service just like the Oath I took with the U.S. Military that has never expired. La Mirada will be safe under my watch.
